Itinerary Laguna del Diamante Safari

Departure from the hotel at 9 am.

We’re heading down Route 40, traveling 120 Kilometers of asphalt until arriving to the city of San Carlos, (Pareditas), from there, and by gravel road, we began the ascent to the west over valleys, slopes and cornices, climbing to more than 4000 meters of height, then we go down to the Laguna del Diamante, a spectacular mirror of glacial thaw water from the Maipo Volcano, summit limit with our neighboring country Chile. Here we find the headwaters of the Diamante River, which downhill waters the southern Oasis of the province.

Get ready to enjoy nature, enjoy incredible scenery and have a day of fishing or walk in the most beautiful natural water mirror in the province of Mendoza, surrounded by guanacos and a spectacular and virgin environment. It includes an exquisite Asado “Criollo” (Creole), accompanied by high-end wines.

Return to the hotel about 9 pm.
