Telegraph’s High Mines Itinerary
Departure from the hotel at 9 am.
Circuit with 4×4 vehicles in the vicinity of Uspallata, the semi-desert area will dazzle us with its beautiful landscapes, witnessing marine life in the region more than 300 million years ago and the minerals that have our lands full of vivid colors, put there to be delighted by us and capturing images with our photo cameras.
After taking the road to the Uspallata Valley, a vegetal oasis in the Cuyo desert, we will take the road along provincial Route 13, away from all urbanity.
We arrive at the 7 Colors Hill, obligatory stopping point for its great beauty, then we will enter the Quebrada del Telégrafo in a fun but very safe 4 × 4 vehicle, going deep in the heart of these mountains, in fact, we will visit an old mine of fluorite where with the help of helmets and lanterns we can snoop around inside.
Finally, from the top of a hill, we will access an imposing viewpoint of the Uspallata Valley where you can see the oasis, much of the “cordillera frontal” and its highest peak, the Aconcagua.
Once the circuit is finished, we will visit Uspallata where it will be waiting an exquisite paired creole lunch with high-end wines. Then we’ll return to the City of Mendoza.
Return to the hotel about 4 pm.
